Florida Virtual School
Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is an accredited online learning school. Students must register at www.flvs.net. The cost of a FLVS course is $375.00 per segment for any student receiving a state funded scholarship.
Students may take one of the following as pass/fail on FLVS:
- Drivers Ed
- HOPE/PE or any Physical Education course
This does not apply to students in the Class of 2028 and beyond.
If you want to utilize the pass/fail option, you must complete the pass/fail form with your guidance counselor prior to starting the class. Any other course taken through FLVS must be taken for credit. This option will no longer be available beginning with the class of 2028.

- Obtained and filled out college applications

- Common App
- What is it? A college application that allows you to choose multiple schools to apply for by using one application. Not all schools use the common app.

- One page only
- Provide valid and reliable contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
- Written the requested essay
- Compiled an Activities Page
- Ask teachers for letters of recommendation
- Please allow for 10-14 days for letters to be written
- Must request through SCOIR
- Provide whomever is writing information about you. Your resume, activities page
- Request transcripts to be sent on SCOIR
- Gather all paperwork and mail
- Applied for additional scholarships
- Completed your FAFSA
